Our Career Guidance process (school-leavers and post-grads)
Our Dublin-based Career Guidance expert for school-leavers and post-grads is Jack Griffin, BA, TTG, HDE, DCG. Our services are available face-to-face at our office in South Park, Foxrock, Dublin 18, or via telephone and Skype.

Step 1: Telephone/Skype Interview
Involves: You and our Career Guidance Expert
Duration: 30 minutes

- Personal Profile Analysis – online test by Thomas International
- Aptitude Test – online test by Thomas International
- Career Interest Inventory – electronic test we email to you
Step 2: Tests
Involves: You
Duration: Circa 2 hours
You complete the tests, as outlined above.
Step 3: Assessment of Tests
Involves: Our Career Guidance Expert
Duration: Circa 2 hours
Our Career Guidance Expert assesses the results and prepares for Step 3.
Step 4: Face-to-face or Skype meeting
Involves: You and our Career Guidance Expert
Duration: Two hours
(Face-to-face meeting takes place at our premises in Foxrock, Dublin 8)
At this meeting, we provide feedback and conclusions based on Steps 1 and 2 above. This meeting, which lasts two hours, will bring us to a point where we agree on a number of career options for you.
Step 5: Career Exploration by you
Involves: You
Duration: Circa eight hours over the course of approximately one month
Guided by our Career Guidance Expert, you research the career options identified in Step 3 above. You will look at:

- ‘Shadowing’ opportunities to allow you to learn more about the career options
- Talking to people who work in those careers
Step 6: Career Decisions
Involves: You & our Career Guidance Expert
Duration: 30-minute telephone or Skype call
Here we finally agree on steps you will take – and you take responsibility for carrying out those steps.
Step 7: CV
Involves: Our Career Guidance Expert
Duration: Circa two hours
We provide you with a CV that will allow you to pursue the career steps you have taken.
